Beautiful artwork by 1A.
Reading Buddies with Ms Tavascia's class is lots of fun. They help us read and practise other language games and activities.
We love solving problems and have become quite good at it.
We have been writing journals, letters and stories. When we write, we try to follow the above 'Success Criteria' to help us remember what to do.
Grade 1A MAY Newsletter
Dear Parents and Guardians,
April has been an awesome time in Room 7. We have started to explore 10-frames which are a 10 box mat used to display counters so that we can see quickly how many are there and determine how many more would make 10. We will soon be looking at ordinals to 10 (first, second, third) and practice counting by 2s, 5s and 10s. The kids have started to write stories this month. We are trying to use interesting words and make the short stories as exciting as possible. It is fun to see the students getting creative and enjoying this process. Way to go 1A!
